How to make the hairband

Photo slideshow instructions:

Illustration & Steps:

  1. Cut a piece of fabric (that has some give) to 15cm x 60cm.

  2. Fold it in half so the long edges meet, and sew along the edge to make a tube.

  3. Turn it right way out.

  4. Fold it in half so the short ends meet and slide the fabric half way vertically. Fold the back fabric over to the front, and the front fabric over to the back, to make a Z shape.

  5. Serge along the short edge, and flip the completed hairband outwards.

(If it feels too loose, adjust the circumference by repeating step 5.)
