Ocean Wave Soap Recipe

Let me share the recipe for these cool ocean wave MP soap.

How to make ocean wave soap with melt & pour soap

Here are the ingredients to make a 500g soap block, which can be sliced into 5 soap bars.

Sand layer

Melt and mix:

  • 100g white soap base
  • gold mica powder (pre-diluted in a few sprays of isopropyl alcohol)
  • Ground walnuts (optional)

Bottom water layer

Melt and mix:

  • 130g clear soap base mixed with
  • 1 drop blue pigment
  • 1 drop green pigment

Place the soap mold onto a different angle and pour the soap. When it starts to set, make bumps on the surface.

Melt a bit of white soap base and drizzle on top, making swirls with a toothpick.

Middle water layer

Melt and mix:

  • 130g clear soap base
  • 2 drops blue pigment
  • 1 drop green pigment

Place the soap mold onto a different angle, spray isopropyl alcohol, then pour the soap on top. Make bumps on the surface as it sets. Melt a bit of white soap base and drizzle on top, making swirls with a toothpick.

Top water layer

Melt and mix:

  • 130g clear soap base
  • 1 drop purple pigment
  • 2 drops blue pigment
  • 1 drop green pigment

White wave layer

Melt:

  • 90g white soap base

Make the top surface wavy as it sets.
